dolphins and fish

Believe it or not, dolphins are not fish! They are mammals, like humans, killer whales and sharks. Like us, they breath oxygen while fish have bars of tissue called gills. They breathe in water and the water is forced out of the gills while they are supplied with air. Oddly enough, they can't live out of water while dolphins can!
